Quality is a process, not an inspection at the end
Halvorsen Pike maintains a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015. Each project begins with a project-specific quality control plan that identifies definable features of work, the tests required, hold points and the person responsible for each step. Plans are submitted to the owner and reviewed at the preparatory meeting for every feature.
Our own certified technicians perform concrete, soil, aggregate and asphalt testing, with ACI, WAQTC and NICET credentials. Results are logged and shared with the owner's inspector within 24 hours, and nonconformances are tracked to closure in the same system we use for submittals.

Preparatory
Before work starts: submittals approved, materials verified, crews briefed on tolerances and the inspector walks the area with the foreman.

Initial
The first unit of work is inspected in full. The foreman, QC lead and owner agree on workmanship standards.

Follow-up
Continuous inspection and testing, with nonconformances documented, corrected and verified before the work is covered.

STA 3+00
Turnover
Final tests, as-built records, warranty documents and O&M training completed before substantial completion.

AWS-certified weld inspection and independent rebar placement review before every major pour.

Problems are documented, root-caused and closed out, with trends reviewed monthly by management.
