What is in the packet

We have answered enough prequalification questionnaires to know what agencies and primes need. Our standard package includes:

  • Contractor licenses and registrations in Washington, Oregon and Idaho
  • Surety letter confirming single ($150 million) and aggregate ($400 million) bonding capacity
  • Three years of reviewed financial statements and a CPA letter
  • Experience modification rate (EMR) letters and OSHA 300A logs for the last five years, with TRIR and DART calculations
  • Written safety program, including critical lift, excavation and confined-space plans
  • ISO 9001:2015 certificate and a sample project quality plan
  • Project experience sheets for comparable work, with owner references
  • Resumes for proposed key personnel
  • Equipment list and DBE outreach and good-faith effort documentation
  • UEI, CAGE code, NAICS codes and SAM.gov registration details

Prequalification questions

01 How quickly will I receive the packet?
We send the standard package within two business days. Agency-specific forms take three to five business days depending on the questionnaire.
02 What is your bonding capacity?
Our surety supports $150 million for a single project and $400 million in aggregate. A letter from our surety is part of the packet.
03 Can you provide your EMR and OSHA logs?
Yes. We provide the last five years of EMR letters, OSHA 300A summaries and calculated TRIR and DART rates.
04 Are you prequalified with the state DOTs?
We are prequalified with the Washington, Oregon and Idaho departments of transportation for roadway and structures work. Certificates are included in the packet.
05 Do you accept work as a subcontractor to other primes?
Yes, though most of our work is as a prime or CM/GC contractor. We regularly partner with other firms on joint ventures and teaming arrangements.
